A Message from Jeff L. Hubbard to
Members of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
In October 2015, it was announced that KeyBank would be acquiring First Niagara in a deal that would make it the 13th largest commercial bank based in the United States. Over the past year, integration teams have been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition for First Niagara’s customers and employees.
Over Columbus Day Weekend, First Niagara retail and business customer accounts were officially converted to KeyBank accounts; if you live in a town with a First Niagara branch, you probably noticed that the old signs were taken down and replaced with KeyBank’s signature black and red logo. This happened at 65 branches across the state in Greater Hartford/Manchester, Greater New Haven, Fairfield County and the shoreline.
As I’m sure you are aware, KeyBank did not operate in Connecticut prior to the merger; here are a few things you should know:
KeyBank has branches from coast-to-coast and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio; that being said, the local decision-making customers came to expect from First Niagara will remain the same. If you are a business customer, you can expect a CT-based KeyBank team to help you put together the right package to suit your specific financing needs.
KeyBank brings Wall Street to Main Street
KeyBank’s enterprise approach to commercial banking means commercial customers – from small businesses to large corporations – benefit from the Bank’s ability to bring ideas and solutions that support business growth. Commercial clients are provided the right tools at the right time, whether those tools are payment solutions, mobile corporate banking, cash flow management, industry expertise or access to capital markets.
Expanded Digital Presence
KeyBank’s expanded digital platform gives clients time-saving digital banking tools, improved security and fraud protection and a consistent customer experience whether they are banking online or by mobile device.
As we welcome one million First Niagara customers to KeyBank, many of them right here in Connecticut, we will continue to keep our clients and communities at the center of all that we do. I look forward to continuing our relationship with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and encourage everyone, whether a commercial or retail customer, to look into the many top-notch products and services offered through KeyBank.
